IVR testing solution

I wanted to get some helpful tips in testing IVR bots. I found 2 repos on Github: botium-connector-voip and botium-connector-twilio-ivr. The voip repo doesn’t have a readme and the twilio repo seems like there is no active development on it. I wanted to know whats the best strategy to use to automate IVR testing and if one of these repos can help.

The IVR Testing with our VOIP connector is (currently) not part of the Open Source distribution of Botium, but only available with Botium Box.
While we recently focused our work on the VOIP connector, the Twilio IVR connector is still working and in active use by some of our clients.
