Botium wildcard * and the allowed * in the text

Some of the bot responses have lots of * in the text. This is not what I added for wildcard support.
Since it is coming in the bot text itself, my test is failing with the below error:
Error: Maximum number of 10 wildcards supported.

How can I make sure there is no confusion between the botium wildcard * and the allowed * in the text

Default matching mode is to use * as wildcard, but can be disabled with the mentioned capability
